Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
