Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
