The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
