Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who determined and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
