Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
