The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
