The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
