The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
