Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
