The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
