The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
