Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
