The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
