The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
