The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
