Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
