The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
