The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
