The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
