Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
HAS THERE COME unto thee the tiding of the Overshadowing Event? 1 Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated (in the Hell-fire, i.e. the faces of all disbelievers, Jews and Christians, etc.). 2 Laboring, toiling, 3 Entering into burning fire, 4 and will be made to drink from a boiling spring, 5 they shall have no food but thorns, 6 that will neither nourish nor satisfy their hunger. 7 Faces on that Day shall be delighted, 8 and pleased with the result of their deeds in the past. 9 They shall be in a Garden lofty: 10 In which they will not hear any lewd speech. 11 Therein will be a flowing spring, 12 In which are high thrones. 13 and goblets placed ready, 14 well-placed cushions, 15 and carpets outspread. 16 What, do they not reflect upon how the camel was created? 17 and on the sky, how it is raised aloft, 18 And at the mountains, how they are rooted? 19 And at the earth - how it is spread out? 20 Therefore do remind, for you are only a reminder. 21 You are not a watcher over them; 22 But he who turns his back, and disbelieves, 23 Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment. 24 Truly, to Us is their return; 25 Then, surely, it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
