Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Has not there come to you the news of the overwhelming calamity? 1 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. 2 Labouring (hard), weary,- 3 They will suffer the heat of the blazing fire 4 watered at a boiling fountain, 5 No food shall be theirs save bitter thorn, 6 Neither nourishing nor banishing hunger. 7 (Other) faces, that Day, will be joyful, 8 With their effort [they are] satisfied 9 in a sublime Garden, 10 wherein they will not hear any vain talk. 11 Therein will be a running spring, 12 And within it are couches placed on high, 13 Goblets set, 14 well-placed cushions, 15 And linen spread out. 16 So do they not see the camel - how it has been created? 17 how the heavens are raised up high, 18 And the hills, how they are set up? 19 And the earth - how it has been spread out? 20 So, [O Prophet] exhort them: your task is only to exhort, 21 and are not invested with the authority to compel them. 22 However, as for him who turns away, being bent on denying the truth, 23 Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment, 24 Indeed only towards Us is their return 25 In Our hands are their accounts. 26
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
