The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the night when it envelopeth, 1 And the day when it shines in all its glory, 2 Consider the creation of the male and the female! 3 your striving is indeed to different ends! 4 As for him who gave out his wealth (for Allah's sake) and abstained (from disobeying Him), 5 and believes in the finest, 6 We will ease him toward ease. 7 But he who does not give and is unconcerned, 8 And disbelieveth in goodness; 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 His riches will not save him when he perisheth. 11 Surely upon Us rests the guidance, 12 And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]. 13 Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely; 14 None shall enter it save the most wretched, 15 Who denies and turns away. 16 One who fears God shall be kept away from it -- 17 Who gives away his wealth, purifying himself 18 And none hath with him any favour for reward, 19 He desires only to please his Lord, the Supreme. 20 Will surely be gratified. 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
