The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
