Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the midday brightness 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
