Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
