Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
