Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 And exalted your fame? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 With difficulty is surely ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And unto thine Lord, attend. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
