۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
