Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 that weighed down your back? 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and unto thy Sustainer turn with love. 8
