Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 and unto thy Sustainer turn with love. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
