Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8
