Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
