Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
