Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what have you understood, what the Night of Destiny is! 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months. 3 The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. 4 Peace!... This until the rise of morn! 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Destiny (Al-Qadr). Sent down in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
