Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

We have indeed sent down the Qur’an in the Night of Destiny. 1 And what will explain to thee what the night of power is? 2 The Night of Honor is better than a thousand months, 3 Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, 4 This Night is all peace until the break of dawn. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
