The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
