Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
