The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
