The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
