The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
