The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8
