The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
