The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
