The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
