The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 created man from a clot [of blood]. 2 Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous - 3 who, by the pen, taught the human being: 4 taught Man that he knew not. 5 No indeed; surely Man waxes insolent, 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Surely unto thy Lord is the Returning. 8 Have you seen him who restrains 9 a worshiper when he prays. 10 Have you considered if he were on the right way, 11 Or enjoins piety? 12 Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? 13 Is he then unaware that Allah seeth? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 By the lying, the sinful forelock. 16 Then, let him call upon his council (of helpers), 17 We will now call the guards! 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
