The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
