The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
