The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
