The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
