Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
